Writing Circle 1

1.    Introduce yourselves to one another.  Tell what grade you’re teaching or what you are currently doing.

2.    Next, share the title page/about me page that you created for your journal/notebook or blog.  What purposes do you hope your journal/blog will serve? Please discuss your ideas of a writer’s notebook or journal…what is it?

3.    Then, take turns sharing aspects of your Heart Map or Bone Map and your list of writing topics.

4.    Please discuss the process that describes how you created these entries.

5.    What scaffold or support did I provide in the assignment? How might you revise the assignment to meet the needs of your students?
